What an amazing country with so much biblical history… it was a great experience being able to visit during the passpover/goodfriday/easter time. i’ll start off with the church of the holy sepulchre, which stands where Jesus was nailed to the cross, died, and was tombed.

to the left is the tomb of Christ


next to the mount of olives, where Jesus ascended to heaven. the Messiah is expected to come back to earth here, so the Jews built a huge cemetary on its slopes.
